Some Technical Assistance
Here are some helpful little guides on how to work some of the facilities in the house. It’s not rocket science, but like anything, there’s a knack to it, and we thought we’d share it with our guests.
Electrics
You most likely won’t need to know this during your stay, but on the off-chance there is a problem with anything electrical, it’s handy to know where to look.
The electrical breaker trip switches in the main house can be located in the corner of the kitchen, to the right of the oven as you look at it, in the top cupboard.
For the trip switches in the annex, you can find what you’re looking for in the corner cupboard to the left of the annex front door.
If you would like to use the really cool jet bubbles function on our Jacuzzi bath, make sure to fill the water until the level is above the jets at the back of the bath.
If the water level is too low, you won’t get those lovely bubbles!
OK, so… a quick note on how to use the Jacuzzi bath:
See this image for correct water level.
Water level at the right height = happy bubble time!
See this image for incorrect water level.
Water too low = no bubbles :(
Also, quick note: make sure that the knob/lever circled in this picture, is pulled up before using the bath.
If it isn’t, you will find that there’s no water. Which makes for a terrible bath!
Okay, so this isn’t technical but…
… we wanted to highlight that our dining table can seat up to 12 people!
You’ll find 10 seats around the table most of the time, but there are 2 extras available for when you have a big gathering.
